Guess who's back

Hey,

This is T-WAC, just writing to let y'all know that I've almost gotten my recording studio up and running. I intend on writing an album over the summer and then recording it and producing it (or at least recording a few songs).

Keep your eyes peeled,

Hello.

Haven't posted for a while.
Figured I should say what I've been doing.

Starting in 2011, I wrote soft rock. I kinda found my niche. Writing gothic rock never really worked out for me very well.
I've written a bunch of songs, none of which are finished, but I'm hoping to possibly record an EP this summer.
It will most likely be a piano/vocal EP, and will be titled "I Left My Keys In the House".

I'll get onto more of this later. Right now, I'm in the middle of writing lyrics.

See you all soon.

Back again.

Quick post.

I know I haven't been here in a while. Due to college, there isn't really any band happening. Shannon's off at college. Banana's at high school. I'm at college.

I'm thinking that maybe this blog should kind of be a songwriting blog, or a blog about whatever musical shtuffs are happening at this time with Banana and I.

I'm not posting my lyrics here until they're published because there are people out there who steal lyrics, and I've been working hard at these things.

That's all for now. See you later.

Short post on what's going on

Hey, everyone. I know that I haven't posted in a long long time. Sorry about that.
Anyway, there isn't much in the way of news for the band. With school being as hectic as it has been lately, and the fact that Shannon (not my sister) is now off at a four-year college, there hasn't been much time for the band to meet.
I have, however, been writing alot of new stuff.
I haven't finished alot of it yet, and some of it is just rough chord progressions, but it still works.
I'm writing one about being suffocated by an unhealthy relationship, one about heartbreak, one about not giving up even though there doesn't seem to be hope in sight simply because you're too stubborn to quit, and, oddly enough, one about romantic love, being able to let go of the past, and staying strong through hard times. The last of these, I actually just finished writing.
And their music styles vary. The first one is very dissonant and tense, though it releases some of the tension during the chorus; the second one is very dramatic and grandios; the third one is upbeat and dark, yet triumphant at the same time; and the fourth is much more, oddly enough, on the commercial side, and it's upbeat and happy.
I've found that the musical influences for these songs have ranged everywhere from Korn (alternative metal) to Lacuna Coil (gothic metal) to Nightwish (symphonic metal) to Tears For Fears (pop, soft-rock).
Anyway, that's what's been up.
Oh, and one more thing: Shannon (my sister) Chris and I have become part of a church band named Never Too Young.
We play at a special teen mass once a month, in an attempt to get the youth more involved. It's pretty cool. I play keyboards and do some vocals, Shannon plays guitar, and Chris plays bass, as well as does some vocals.
It's pretty cool. We don't really write our own stuff, we just learn hymns from one of our hymnbooks and play them. So far, we've played Awesome God, I Can Only Imagine, and a few other contemporary christian songs that I don't remember right now.
It's late. I'm tired. I got up too early this morning. Or rather, got to bed too late.
Anyway, I'll do my best to post upcoming news whenever it's available.

Haven't posted in forever.

Sorry about the lack of attention I am giving to this blog.
Here's basically a quick update as to what's been happening.
Not much.
I've been writing a few other songs, and one of them's almost finished. I've started experimenting with chromaticism.
Our drummer and guitarist are fully healed now. The only problem is that I'm taking four classes at college, so our band meets are infrequent.
Anyway, I'll update again soon.
Timothy.

YES!!

Hello again!
Before I tell you what happened I will tell you how it started.
I was in my room playing with chords on my guitar when I found some eerie, cool(as in cold) sounding notes. I played with the sound and order. Then I began to write. The song is called 'October Skies'. I wrote it like a classical composer would. I imagined the cold of October and the colors and the shapes of the clouds and things. Then I put the visions into music. I brought what I had figured out down to Tim and he found a hollow sounding piano piece. We put it together and now it is on TuxGuitar. And under construction. This song I think will not need many instruments.
I am very excited about the way it sounds. It sounds exactly the way I want it too!

New Instrument

Hello everyone! Still waiting for band meets to start back up again. Hopfully they will start soon. I got a new acoustic guitar, because my old one was... not great. The fretts were messed up and it wasn't made out of a good wood. But now I have a Walden. It's back and sides are Mahogany, the face is polished Spruce, and the frett board is Rosewood. So over all a really good guitar.
If anyone is looking for a place to get a good guitar, I suggest Music go round :)
Shannon went off to collage, so we have to notify her a few weeks before any band meet. Tomorrow Tim and I are going to the beach to visit Josh. He is doing much better. considering the accident was only a couple months ago. I have started High School, and Tim will continue his collage classes in a week. We will get the band together as soon as possible.
I know it doesn't seem like we are doing much, but Tim and I play the music we made together. So the two of us are working on it :) Thanks for waiting so long. Neither Tim or I have been posting much.
